Role Overview

As a Global Procurement Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Opstream’s customers: providing strategic and operational guidance on modern procurement practices, digital transformation, and value realization through AI-driven automation. You will collaborate with executive stakeholders (CPOs, CFOs, COOs) and procurement teams to help them reimagine sourcing, supplier management, and spend optimization in the age of AI. This is a strategic, consultative role that blends domain expertise in global procurement with a passion for innovation, analytics, and enterprise transformation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Advise Clients on Procurement Transformation: Guide enterprise and midmarket customers on best practices in global sourcing, supplier management, and category strategy leveraging Opstream’s platform capabilities.
  • Design Data-Driven Procurement Strategies: Help clients use AI, analytics, and automation to optimize spend, reduce risk, and increase efficiency.
  • Executive Engagement: Partner with senior stakeholders (CPOs, CFOs, Procurement Directors) to align OpstreamAI solutions with strategic business outcomes.
  • Workshops & Assessments: Conduct procurement maturity assessments, workshops, and strategic reviews to identify value opportunities and roadmap improvements.
  • Value Realization: Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to measure impact and demonstrate ROI of OpstreamAI solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Data Science, and Solution Engineering teams to translate customer feedback into product enhancements.
  • Enablement: Contribute to best-practice playbooks, industry benchmarks, and enablement materials for both internal teams and customers.

 

Qualification

  • 8-10+ years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain strategy, ideally in a consulting or technology advisory capacity.
  • Deep understanding of procurement transformation, category management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders and drive strategic conversations that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort interpreting data insights to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively.
  • Passion for innovation and curiosity about how AI is reshaping enterprise operations.
