Opstream is changing the way companies buy with an intelligent platform that modernizes purchasing workflows, enabling organizations to save time, cut costs, and optimize resources through intelligent sourcing, intake management, and vendor portfolio automation.
Founded by Lihi Lutan and Mor Cohen-Tal, two seasoned professionals in the tech space who felt the pain of dealing with complicated procurement processes firsthand.
We are looking for a curious and agile Senior Frontend Engineer with deep Angular experience to be one of the first members of our fast-growing team. Our ideal candidate is eager to build modern, performant user interfaces, help shape the frontend architecture, and extremely hard working. If this sounds exciting to you, come and join our team to build the platform that will change the way companies buy.
Our Tech Stack:
– Angular
– TypeScript / JavaScript
– Figma
– Storybook
– AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3)
– Backend: Node (TypeScript), Python, Django
What You Will Do
Top priorities
- Build, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable frontend features in Angular
- Collaborate with Product and Design to bring beautiful and intuitive interfaces to life
- Help define and implement frontend architecture, component libraries, and design systems
- Ensure responsiveness, accessibility, and usability across browsers and devices
- Contribute to technical decisions, coding standards, and performance best practices
And because our UI velocity and consistency needs to scale, you will also
- Own and evolve the design system in code using tokens, themes, Storybook, and shared libraries so a single component does not take weeks to land and changes propagate quickly
- Set the component culture across engineering by defining reuse and customization rules, reducing one-off styling that makes the UI feel inconsistent
- Adopt and operationalize AI acceleration tools (Builder.io, Figma to code exporters, GitHub Copilot, internal generators) to cut the time from design handoff to merged PR without sacrificing quality
- Sweat the details: micro-interactions, empty states, loading and error states, accessibility, motion where it clarifies intent, and performance budgets that keep things snappy
- Mentor and influence: review PRs, lead UI guilds, write lightweight guidelines, and raise the bar for frontend excellence
You Might Be a Fit If You
- 6+ years building production web apps, 4+ with Angular and TypeScript on complex products
- Deep experience with design systems, tokens, theming, Storybook (or similar), and scalable component architectures
- Think in systems, not just screens, and can articulate tradeoffs between abstraction and velocity
- Care about pixel-level polish and interaction quality as much as performance and developer experience
- Comfortable refactoring legacy UI while still shipping features
- Shipped responsive UI at scale and can explain your approach to grids, spacing, fluid typography, and viewport quirks
- Enjoy experimenting with AI-assisted tools and know when automation helps vs hurts
- Communicate clearly with designers, PMs, and backend engineers, and you document decisions so others can follow
Nice To Have
- Real-world use of Builder.io, Locofy, or other Figma to code tools
- Tailwind or utility-first CSS alongside Angular
- Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or Vitest for component and E2E tests
- Experience setting performance budgets (LCP, CLS, TTI) and running accessibility audits (ARIA, WCAG)
- Familiarity with AWS, GraphQL, Node services, or micro front ends
- Early stage SaaS experience
